“Is gender a key variable on internet usage?” An analysis of gender behaviour in internet use and related technologies.

Integrated Marketing Communication

Turkish Airlines communication strategy

Analysed the marketing communication strategy of THY.

Computer Science and Engineering graduation project

Campus carpool platform

Developed a web-based carpool system for the Sabancı University community using PHP.

  • Software Engineering: designed and implemented a reservation and ticketing system using C#.
  • Operating Systems: simulated memory management using the Buddy System in C++.
  • Database Systems: built an FRP database management system.
  • Logic and Digital System Design: designed and implemented a changeable case lock system and a vending machine algorithm.
  • Computer Networks: implemented a file-sharing application using C#.
  • Production and Service Systems Operations: studied inventory management in a retail company.
  • Computer Vision: implemented a facial feature detection and extraction algorithm using MATLAB.
  • Project Course: designed and built a boomerang.

C#, C++, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, PHP, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PL/SQL and Oracle. My résumé additionally records foundational experience in Python, Java, Qt, QML and Vue.js. Recent independent projects also involve React, TypeScript, Phaser and Godot.

Delivery, collaboration and design

Microsoft Office applications, Atlassian products, Wrike, Trello, Microsoft Visual Studio applications, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, Miro and TeamViewer. Additional experience includes Google AdWords and Facebook Ads, with foundational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Android Studio.

Turkish: native. English: TOEFL iBT score of 95. German and Chinese: basic. The TOEFL score is a historical result, rather than a statement of a current test’s validity.

University activities & community

  • RadyoSU: former executive member of Sabancı University Radio Club; producer and DJ of the weekly programme “Black Mirror” for five years.
  • SineK: former executive member of Sabancı University Cinema Club.
  • Civic Involvement Project: participated in publishing a booklet about teenagers’ civil rights.
  • Marketing discussions: participated in sessions organised by Sabancı University’s Economy–Management Club, with guest lecturers from Henkel, Türk Telekom and Turkcell.
