The background behind the work.

A practical connection between disciplines

I turn complex problems into clear product decisions and ideas into software people can use. My work brings together three perspectives: the engineer who understands how a system is built, the product thinker who asks who it serves, and the project leader who helps a team deliver it.

My path has taken me through enterprise software development, architecture, agency delivery, global application security and technical product ownership. Alongside that professional work, I have continued to build independent products. Moving between these settings has given me a broad view of what it takes to move from a brief or an opportunity to something people can actually use.

I am a PMP-certified professional with an academic background in Computer Science and Engineering, Management, and Marketing Communications. That combination is central to how I approach a problem: understand the technical constraints, the business context and the people involved before deciding what to build.

How the story developed

My early professional experience was close to the code. At KoçSistem, I worked on business applications involving leasing, purchasing and sales processes, using C# and the .NET ecosystem. Those projects connected software decisions to the everyday operations of an organisation.

Architecture and agency roles broadened that responsibility. At Avikon and Gri Creative, and later in senior project management roles at Ogoo Digital and Cevahir Teknoloji, the work included both technical delivery and the coordination around it: development teams, customer relationships, requirements and different delivery methods.

Application security brought a different kind of complexity. At Sony Electronics, I coordinated global application security projects. At Invicti Security, I worked as a Technical Product Owner on integrations between Netsparker Enterprise / Acunetix 360 and third-party products and services. My professional background also includes a Senior Product Manager role at Massive Bio.

The common thread is the ability to work across boundaries. I can discuss implementation with engineers, clarify priorities with stakeholders and translate a broad objective into a sequence of decisions and deliverables.

How I work

• Start with the problem. Clarify who needs the product, what they are trying to accomplish and what a useful outcome looks like.
• Make the tradeoffs visible. Connect scope, timing, technical constraints and business priorities so a team can make informed decisions.
• Stay close to delivery. Use my development background to ask concrete questions, explore alternatives and understand implementation risks.
• Choose a delivery method that fits. My experience includes waterfall and agile project environments, with attention to the needs of the project and its stakeholders.
• Learn through building. Independent projects give me a direct way to explore product concepts, interactions and technical choices.

The person behind the projects

Born in Ankara in 1986, I studied at Antalya Anatolian High School before continuing my university education in Istanbul. My interests extend across chess, music, cinema and Lindy Hop. During university, I was active in both the radio and cinema clubs, including five years producing and DJing the weekly radio programme “Black Mirror.”

That mix of technical and creative interests also appears in my independent work: strategy games, chess tools, daily sports quizzes, decision tools and data analysis products. Each offers a different way to explore how people think, learn, choose and interact.
